	For foreigners who want to visit Tibet China, they have to apply for Tibet Travel Permit. Tourists need to travel with a travel agency, and the travel agency will help apply for the permits. Documents will be submitted to Tibet local Public Security Bureau, and usually it takes 3 days to get it.
Train to Tibet
	To reach Tibet from eastern China, tourists can take Qingzang railway ( Qinghai-Tibet railway), which is the longest and highest railway in the world. The total length of Qingzang railway is 1956 km. Passenger train s passes city stations including Lanzhou, Xining, Chengdu, Chongqing, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The journey all the way from Beijing takes just under 48 hours.
